SpaceShare Green Travel

SpaceShare helps you replace your car with your community, sharing rides to festivals and conferences, as well as making other connections: share rooms, share taxis from airports, or build your community with ambassador programs, activist connections or conference discussion forums. As we grow, we will include church, synagogue and mosque carpooling, then college campus rideshares.

While most government programs focus on commute carpooling, we want to help the car-free can get to fun activities as well, and make ridesharing part of existing communities. Eventually, we will make it easy for you to walk out of your home with a cell phone instead of a car, get rides anywhere you need to go and back, with safe and friendly drivers.

We're a small green enterprise out to make big changes for the planet, and we welcome you to co-create with us: volunteer or intern or partner with us and let's try to scrape up decent living wages while doing great work for the planet.

Why are we in the Marketing Channel? SpaceShare's biggest challenge is finding sponsors who want some great publicity for being green at festivals up and down the US West Coast, and soon across the US & Canada. We'd like to work with companies that are serious about being green like our first sponsor Columbia Gorge [many of whom are too small to be the ONE sponsor for SpaceShare, and we're happy to work with other small companies] ... perhaps others signing up their companies at Viva Green would look for a way to reach the larger public while doing good green work at the same time.
