I am writing this up on here as the quantity and varied methods of planting an apple tree have made it become a difficult subject to allow a conclusive methodology. It's unique environment, with a varied geology and warm temperate climate combine to allow it to have developed a unique biodiversity that has intrigued some of the world's most celebrated botanists and horticulturalists.

It is worth gathering information on the history and proper methodology of building these structures, which is relatively scant to the say the least.
